90 seconds: one model, 84 scenes, one coffee
Sound familiar?
You did not study design to become a camera clerk.
01
The scene ritual
Position, frame, eye height, save, rename — twenty times per floor, on every single project.
02
The counting ritual
Tiles counted off a screen with a calculator. The order arrives a box short — or a pallet over.
03
The renaming ritual
Material2, Material3, Material14… and a render session that starts with an archaeology dig.
None of it is design. All of it is billable time — spent on work a machine should do.
We got tired of it too
So we built the tools inside our own studio — and used them on client projects for a year.
SKP Tools Studio is two shipped extensions and a growing suite, sold only after they survived our own deadlines.
Every room, centre and corners, at eye height — generated as native scenes, reviewed on a contact sheet.
Tile set-outs precise enough to order from, schedules straight from the geometry, LayOut-ready scenes.
In open development. They land in your toolbar the day they ship — included while you subscribe.
Imagine next Tuesday
The same project. A different week.
Without Studio
- An afternoon of camera placement
- Tile counts by calculator — and by prayer
- Material list like a crime scene
- LayOut sheets rebuilt from a blank page
- Coverage depends on the deadline
With Studio
- The scene set generates while you pour a coffee
- The contractor orders from your CSV
- Materials read like a specification
- LayOut starts from a ready skeleton
- Every room gets the same treatment — even at 5 pm
The offer, plainly
Everything you get with Studio
Class comparisons reflect typical prices of comparable single plugins in this niche (Fredo6 bundle $40, Quantifier Pro $79, Profile Builder $119, Curic Studio $99). Early-access subscribers keep the $99 launch price for life.

Try it on a live project. If it does not pay for itself, don't pay for it.
Fourteen days, full suite, no credit card to start. Cancel any time later — the versions you installed keep working. We do not brick toolbars.
Fair questions
Still on the fence?
Will it work on my messy models?
Scene Director reads the groups and tags you already have; if your rooms are grouped even loosely, it works. The honest prerequisite is model discipline you should have anyway — and the free Essentials Toolkit helps you get there first.
I already own Fredo6 / Profile Builder / OpenCutList.
Keep them — they are good tools. Studio does not replace modelling plugins; it removes the camera, documentation and cleanup rituals around them. OpenCutList in particular stays in our own toolbar too.
What if a SketchUp update breaks everything?
Everything is pure Ruby — no native binaries — so new SketchUp versions are supported within days. Updates are included while you subscribe.
Why yearly and not one-time?
Because the suite grows: Geometry Doctor, Model Hygiene Pro and the Proxy/LOD Manager land in Studio as they ship, at no extra cost. If you cancel, your installed versions keep working.
One afternoon. That is the price of waiting.

P.S. If you scrolled straight here: SKP Tools Studio is the SketchUp suite we built inside our own interior design studio — 80–120 camera scenes in about a minute, fourteen documentation tools, every future Studio tool included. $99 a year at launch, 14-day free trial, 14-day refund. The trial costs you one coffee's worth of curiosity.
