SKP Tools is not a software company that discovered interior design. It is an interior design studio that got tired of clicking — and started building.
We didn't learn what makes a good plan from theory — we learned it while screwing the shelves to the wall ourselves. Every plugin on this site runs in our own studio, on live projects, every day.

The two of us
A studio of two, and one shared toolbox.
Creative lead
Liv
Liv leads every concept: the mood of a space, the materials, the light — the reason clients get homes that feel composed, not just furnished. She is also the toughest critic the plugins have. If a tool interrupts the creative flow, it goes back to the workshop.
Professional lead
Dan
Dan runs the technical side of the studio: modelling, documentation, buildability. The plugins started as his own toolbox — shortcuts for the work that ate the evenings. A module only ships once it has survived his real client deadlines.
Behind us stands the professional circle built over seven years: a fellow designer, plus architect, engineering and joinery partners.
How we got here
Seven years, one lesson.
The studio's story is the reason the tools exist. Every year taught us where the hours go — and which of them a good tool can give back.
- 2020 — we dived inOur first shop opened, and the design brand with it. No ready-made team, no ready-made process — in the early months we did everything ourselves: surveys, design, even the on-site carpentry.
- 2022 — growth, the hard teacher120 projects in a single year, mostly custom furniture — kitchens to complete homes — and a Budapest showroom. Every one of them was modelled in SketchUp, and we started to see exactly where the hours leak.
- 2024 — back to fundamentalsAt a crossroads we chose quality over volume: fewer projects, full attention. That decision left no room for repetitive clicking — whatever could be automated, had to be.
- Now — the tools leave the studioThe shortcuts we built for ourselves grew into a real suite. SKP Tools is that toolbox, cleaned up and shared — with the community voting on what we build next.
In seven years we never learned how to be faster. We learned how to stay precise when we have to speed up — and that is exactly what these tools are for.
